Chai Spiced Loaf with Harvest to Hand

CHAI SPICED LOAF by @harrietwell ✨ - Spiced, soft and perfect toasted with a tea 💛 or as a quick and easy breakfast topped with nut butter to grab and go! ✨

Recipe:

Chai milk
- 1 ¼ cup plant milk
- 2 chai spiced tea bags
Loaf
- 1 ¼ cup Chai milk
- ⅓ HH oil
- ½ cup yoghurt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/4 cup wholemeal flour

- 1/4 cup HH flour
- 3 tbsp honey
- 10 dates (chopped & soaked hot water)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp ground clove
- Pinch salt

Preheat oven to 180. Bring milk to a simmer, add tea bags and soak for 5 mins. Add oil, yogurt and vanilla, honey - whisk together. 

In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, salt and mix to combine. Drain water from chopped dates and add to bowl.

Add wet ingredients to dry. Mix together until just combine, don't over mix. 

Pour into baking paper lined loaf tin, bake in oven for 40mins or until a skewer comes out clean and top is golden.

Slice and top with your favourite toppings and HH Hemp hearts
