Harvest to Hand Caprese Salad (Hemp Style) Recipe

Holleigh was fortunate enough to travel through Europe a few years ago. This salad we are about to share with you is one she lived off in the beautiful European countries during the summer. It was easy, cheap, fresh, light, basically everything you wanted on a hot summers day or evening. Here is our Hemp version of the classic Italian salad.

 

Ingredients:

125 g Bocconcini, halved

1/4 red onion thinly sliced

250g cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup hemp hearts

Drizzle Hempseed Oil

Drizzle balsamic vinegar

bunch of basil, loosely chopped (or whole)

Seasoned with salt and pepper

(Can add pesto if wanted)

Method:

Slice bocconcini, red onion, cherry tomatoes and basil.

Throw everything into your serving dish and season with all dressings and garnishes.

And just like that you have a simple fresh caprese salad - enjoy!
