Harvest to Hand Hemp Pesto

A match made in heaven if you ask us! Harvest to Hand Hemp Pesto... pair it with our HH humble hemp hummus on your toast and make your mornings that much better! Not to mention pesto is expensive to buy, so try making it yourself at home and save some pennys. Its simple because you throw everything you need in the blender and the jobs done. Store in the fridge and consume within a week (if it lasts that long).

Ingredients:

1 cup of basil

1 cup of spinach

1/4 cup of HH Hemp Hearts

1/4 cup of shredded parmesan cheese

1/4 cup of HH Hemp Oil

1/4 cup of walnuts ( or cashews or pine nuts )

1 garlic clove ( half a clove if you dont like it too garlicy )

Salt and pepper to taste ( 1/4 tbsp )

 

Method:

Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Scrap down the sides every now and then to make sure all the mixture is blended. Serve as a dip for bread, carrot or celery sticks, crackers or in sandwiches.

Our favourite way to enjoy HH hemp pesto is to have with HH Hemp hummus on toast!
